Accessibility
Made for everyone. Here's how.
We aim for WCAG 2.2 at level AA, the international standard for accessible sites, so you can use this page whatever your screen or your eyesight.
Last checked: 12 October 2026
What we do
What we do so anyone can use it.
-
Works with a keyboard
Every link, field and button works with a keyboard, and a link jumps straight to the content.
-
Easy to read
All text has a contrast above the 4.5:1 the standard asks for, and most of it above 7:1.
-
Zoom and phones
Pages fit down to 320 pixels wide or 400% zoom without scrolling sideways.
-
A form that explains
Every field has a label, and if something is missing or wrong, the form says what and where.
-
Calm motion
Nothing flashes, and if you ask your device for less motion, every movement stops completely.
-
Two languages, the same content
Every page exists in full in Greek and in English, with its language declared correctly.
How we checked
How we checked it.
We haven't yet tested with people who use a screen reader or other assistive technology every day. If that's you, your view would help more than anything.
-
Every page, both languages
Headings, landmarks, button and field names, on every page, in Greek and in English.
-
Contrast, measured
Every text colour was measured on its real background, not estimated from the design.
-
Phones and zoom
We checked every page from 320 to 1920 pixels wide, with nothing cut off or scrolling sideways.
Limits
What we don't control.
WCAG is published by the W3C. The European standard EN 301 549, the basis of the European Accessibility Act, rests on it, and we aim for its newest version, 2.2.
-
The list's emails
Mailrelay sends them and your own email app opens them, with its own settings.
-
Other sites
Instagram, TikTok and makegreeceeasy.gr have their own accessibility.
