Privacy

The Bouzoukia App is a product of Make Greece Easy, which is not a company yet. Until it is, the person responsible for your data is Stefanos Ktistis, as a private person. You can reach him at hello@bouzoukia.app. Once the company is formed, it takes over, this page will name it and we'll tell the list by email.

Your email, and your message if you write one. Mailrelay, which holds the list, also records when you joined and when you confirmed, with your IP address and time zone at that moment, as proof that you wanted to. Nothing else: no name, no phone number, no precise location.

To send you a welcome, news on how the app is coming along and the launch email. We read the messages to see which venues people want. The basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. We don't build profiles, and we never sell or pass on your details.

With Mailrelay (Spain), which handles it only for us under a data processing agreement, on servers in Germany with backups in the European Economic Area. The list's emails are in English and don't track whether you opened them or what you clicked.

If a sign-up looks suspicious, Mailrelay may ask you for an "I'm not a robot" check (Google reCAPTCHA) on its own page. We don't put it on ours. Google is a company from the USA, so if the check appears, your IP address and browser details may go to servers outside Europe, and Google's privacy policy applies too.

Until you leave the list, with the link in every email or by writing to us. When you leave, Mailrelay keeps only your address, marked as having left, so that we never write to you again. Write to us and we delete that too. If the app has not launched by 31 December 2027, we delete the whole list.

None on this site. Your choice of language is kept in your own browser, in its local storage. It is never sent to us and you can clear it any time in your browser settings. When you confirm or leave the list, you pass through Mailrelay's own pages at emails.bouzoukia.app, which may set one cookie of their own there.

Your email arrives in our mailbox at Spacemail, run by Spaceship, a company from the USA, so it may pass through servers outside Europe. Apart from Google's check above, which is Mailrelay's and not ours, it is the one exception among the tools we chose, and we'll replace it at the launch. We use your email only to reply and keep it only as long as the conversation needs. If you message us on Instagram or TikTok, that network's own privacy policy applies.

The pages are delivered by Bunny.net (Slovenia) from servers in Europe, with visitor logs turned off.

Under the GDPR you can see, correct, take a copy of or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent without affecting what happened before. Write to hello@bouzoukia.app and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If anything changes for the list, we'll tell you by email.
